“Srijonshil Gaibandha” Receives Registration from Department of Social Services

The social organization “Srijonshil Gaibandha”, located in Tengorjani village of Bollomjhar Union under Gaibandha Sadar Upazila, has officially received its registration certificate from the Department of Social Services, Gaibandha, under the Ministry of Social Welfare of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The organization has been registered under registration number GAI/SADAR/1541/2023.
On Monday (June 19) at 2:00 PM, the registration certificate was formally handed over to Md. Mehedi Hasan, President of Srijonshil Gaibandha, by Md. Fazlul Haque, Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office, at the department’s office in Gaibandha. Shahabul Shaheen Tota, Gaibandha District Correspondent of The Daily Prothom Alo, was also present on the occasion.
According to official sources, the registration was granted under Section 4(3) of the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961 (No. 46), as the organization successfully fulfilled all required conditions.
Speaking on the occasion, Md. Mehedi Hasan said that since 2019, Srijonshil Gaibandha has been working towards youth development, implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), socio-economic development of local communities, promotion of sustainable and self-reliant development, prevention of drug abuse, extremism, and child marriage, protection of environment and climate, and ensuring women and child rights.
He added that receiving registration under the Ministry of Social Welfare will significantly strengthen the organization’s capacity and accelerate its activities. The organization remains committed to expanding its humanitarian services and advancing the implementation of its long-term development projects.

গাইবান্ধা সদর উপজেলার বল্লমঝাড় ইউনিয়নের টেংগরজানী গ্রামে অবস্থিত সামাজিক সংগঠন “সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা” গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকার-এর সমাজকল্যাণ মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীন গাইবান্ধা জেলা সমাজসেবা অধিদপ্তর থেকে নিবন্ধন সনদপত্র লাভ করেছে। সংগঠনটির নিবন্ধন নম্বর গাই/সদর/১৫৪১/২০২৩।
সোমবার (১৯ জুন) দুপুর ২টায় গাইবান্ধা জেলা সমাজসেবা অধিদপ্তরের কার্যালয়ে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা’র সভাপতি মো. মেহেদী হাসান-এর হাতে নিবন্ধন সনদপত্র তুলে দেন জেলা সমাজসেবা কার্যালয়ের উপপরিচালক মোঃ ফজলুল হক। এ সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন প্রথম আলো-র গাইবান্ধা জেলা প্রতিনিধি শাহাবুল শাহীন তোতা।
জেলা সমাজসেবা অধিদপ্তর সূত্রে জানা যায়, স্বেচ্ছামূলক সমাজকল্যাণ প্রতিষ্ঠান (রেজিস্ট্রেশন ও নিয়ন্ত্রণ) অধ্যাদেশ, ১৯৬১ (নম্বর-৪৬) এর ধারা ৪(৩) অনুযায়ী প্রয়োজনীয় শর্তাদি পূরণ করায় গাইবান্ধা সদর উপজেলার “সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা”-কে সরকারি সীলমোহরে নিবন্ধন প্রদান করা হয়।
সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা’র সভাপতি মো. মেহেদী হাসান বলেন, ২০১৯ সাল থেকে সংগঠনটি গাইবান্ধা জেলায় যুব উন্নয়ন, এসডিজি বাস্তবায়ন, কর্ম এলাকার আর্থ-সামাজিক অবস্থার কাঙ্ক্ষিত পরিবর্তন সাধন, টেকসই উন্নয়নের মাধ্যমে আত্মনির্ভরশীল সমাজ গঠন, মাদকমুক্ত ও জঙ্গীবাদমুক্ত পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি, বাল্যবিবাহ প্রতিরোধ, পরিবেশ ও জলবায়ু সুরক্ষা এবং নারী ও শিশু অধিকার বাস্তবায়নে কাজ করে আসছে।
তিনি আরও বলেন, সমাজকল্যাণ মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীনে নিবন্ধন সম্পন্ন হওয়ায় সংগঠনের কার্যক্রমে আরও গতি আসবে। ভবিষ্যতে আর্ত মানবতার সেবায় আরও বিস্তৃত পরিসরে কাজ করার পাশাপাশি পূর্বপরিকল্পিত স্থায়ী প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নে সংগঠনটি আরও এক ধাপ এগিয়ে গেল।
