Our key areas of work include promoting education and literacy, fostering youth development and leadership, encouraging cultural engagement and civic participation, strengthening community resilience and social awareness, and leveraging media, art, and communication as powerful tools for positive social change
Where We Work
Srijonshil Gaibandha primarily works in disaster-prone and climate-vulnerable regions of Gaibandha, with a strong focus on hard-to-reach riverine areas and marginalized rural communities. Its interventions also extend to educationally disadvantaged zones and informal settlements, particularly in areas affected by poverty, child marriage, and youth unemployment.
Livelihood Support
We focus on empowering and engaging underprivileged youth and children; women and girls at risk of early marriage or school dropout; char and floodplain communities; adolescents and school-based groups; local artists, educators, and volunteers; as well as people with disabilities and other excluded minorities.
Our Mainstreaming Themes
Srijonshil Gaibandha integrates a set of essential cross-cutting issues across all of its initiatives to ensure inclusive, sustainable, and people-centered impact. These include promoting gender equality and women's empowerment, ensuring child protection and safeguarding, advancing climate justice and environmental awareness, fostering disability inclusion and cultural diversity.

Supporting Merit and Dreams: Scholarship and Recognition Ceremony Held in Gaibandha
With the commitment that “Where there is merit, there is potential,” a scholarship and recognition ceremony was held in Gaibandha for meritorious and financially disadvantaged students, along with students who achieved outstanding results in the SSC 2026 examinations. This was the third consecutive year of the initiative. With dreams in one hand and financial limitations in the other, a group of talented students in Gaibandha had been moving forward despite various challenges. Although their academic performance reflected their merit, the financial realities of their families had made the path toward higher education uncertain for many of them. Some have fathers working in low-income jobs, some come from families struggling to bear the educational expenses of multiple children, while others live in households where meeting daily necessities is itself a challenge. Yet, their dreams did not stop. They believe that with the right opportunities, merit can change the course of their lives.

Srijonshil Gaibandha Foundation participated in the Youth-led Climate Award 2026, an inspiring platform celebrating youth-led climate action, leadership, and initiatives contributing to a more climate-resilient future. The event was held at the Liberation War Museum in Dhaka and organized by VSO Bangladesh and the organizers of the Youth-led Climate Award 2026.

Deputy Director of District Social Services Office Visits Srijonshil Gaibandha Office and Activities
Md. Imam Hasim, Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office, Gaibandha, visited the office of Srijonshil Gaibandha and reviewed its ongoing activities on Monday (14 September). He visited the organization’s office at around 12:30 pm. He was accompanied by Md. Shahidul Haque Khandaker, Senior Assistant. During the visit, Md. Mehedi Hasan, Founder and President of Srijonshil Gaibandha, welcomed the guests and briefed them on the organization’s overall activities, objectives, and future plans.
